Not a happy end, but vaguely more satisfying, and at least one where other NPC characters reacted appropriately, instead of being all happy and uncaring about what I considered a pretty damn tragic end. ***SPOILER WARNING*** My issue is with Morrigan's offer. It really irritates me that the offer is essentially only made available to male characters. If you play as a girl, she asks you to go get the male NPC to participate in the ritual, instead of offering some kind of equivalent deal that would actually include the female character. I felt like my character was cut out of the story, or any future sequels at that point, in favor of the male romantic subplot. Morrigan was the "A" story. Do you have an earlier save you could go back to and get a different ending? I had an ending like that, and it just motivated me to try again with an old save.
