netbookmessengerBlack-highresNetbooks are the laptop de jour. They are compact, sleek, and can be very practical for the student taking notes, or the business traveler. They take what you need and go. No extra weight such as my 17 inch laptop that I have been lugging back and forth for the last 3 years.  Of course with an expansion of gadget devices there is an expansion of case, and sleeves for protecting these devices.  Hence, Skooba’s expansion of messenger bags and sleeves for netbooks.

The messenger bag is a courier-styles bag which can hold any netbook up to a 10 inch screen size along with its needed accessories. The following features are included in the bag:

  • Messures 14 x 12 x 3 inches.
  • 20 pockets and organizing compartmentsnetbook_17
  • Weights 24 ounces.
  • A zip-open top slot that allows quick access to the main compartment
  • A padded sleeve and retention strap for the netbook
  • A mesh pouch for the power adapter
  • A separate front compartment has pockets for digital camera or other portable devices, cords, adapters and accessories, and even a special slot for a USB thumb drive
  • A stowaway water bottle holder
  • Cam-lock lever for quick shoulder strap length adjustment
  • Neoprene exterior side pockets
  • 4 accent colors, each against a dark charcoal background: Abyss Black, Blizzard White, Deep Ocean Blue and Inferno Red

On the other hand the netbooks sleeves, are much like the messenger bag is aesthetic design, yet is only purpose is to cover your netbook.  The sleeve itself has the following features. Blue-highres

  • Zippered main compartment holds any netbook up to 10.1 inch screen size.
  • Stretchy neoprene hugs and protects computer.
  • Front accessory compartment holds power adapter. There’s even a special, protective slot for your USB thumb drive.
  • Removable shoulder strap included.
  • Comes in the same color as the messanger bag: Abyss Black, Blizzard White, Deep Ocean Blue and Inferno Red.
  • Overall Size: 12″L x 7.5″H x .75″D.
  • Weight: 6.4 oz.

The messenger bag is priced at 49.95, while the netbooks sleeves are avaiable for 19.95. Both are avaiable at Skooba
