    The Most Inspiring Games of the Decade

    This past decade we’ve seen many innovations in games. Some were amazing and some …flopped. Some innovations brought new people to gaming and one game alienated gamers. To celebrate the past decade in games, some of our writers thought we’d give our thoughts on what we consider the most inspiring games and publishers of the decades are.     Sneables Game Design Contest Offers Cash Prize

    Sure, they started as just adorable characters on T-shirts and stationary, but 2day&2morrow’s Creations’ Sneables want to break into cyberspace via a PC near you. The catch: You have to design the game. The downsides: Well, there are none. A cash prize (current amount undetermined) will be awarded for the best Flash-based game based on and inspired by the characters, all of which can be found at the Sneables website. Michael Pellegrino, founder of 2day&2morrow’s Creations, isn’t expecting extensive gameplay testing or game design documents – right now, a fun and cute idea is all you need. Ideas can be submitted at Sneables.com, where more information will become available this month.

    Review: Disney Sing It! Pop Hits

Or watch and laugh at our friends while they give it a go. We have SingStar for Playstation and Lips for XBox. What about the Wii? Enter the “Disney Sing It!” franchise. They’ve made a couple of releases already, one in particular being based on the popular High School Musical series. Now we have the latest addition, “Disney Sing It! Pop Hits”, which has a mixture of currently popular music artists featured on it. You’ll find that Miley Cyrus/Hannah Montana and the Jonas Brothers dominate most of the song choices, however you’ll also find the likes of Coldplay, Jesse McCartney and Taylor Swift (amongst others) that have been included in the list.
