    The State of Azeroth: Inaugural Address

    Welcome one and all to the first of a series of monthly articles about what has been going on in the World of Warcraft. I thought that doing a monthly column would be a great idea to make sure that not only breaking news is posted to Gaming Angels, but that some of the smaller news and even updates and opinions sent in by you readers can be shared with everyone! But enough of my rambling, on to the content! Patch 3.3 Before the holidays, we were treated with the final big patch to Wrath of the Lich King, Patch 3.3, that allowed us into Icecrown Citadel so that we can finally get our hands on Arthas.     Win a Wii Fit Plus package from Nintendo and Sports Authority

    Sports Authority and Nintendo teamed up for an event to announce their partnership. The goal of the event was to showcase the new Wii Fit exhibits featured at over 100 Sports Authority stores as well as set a record for the number of people doing Wii Fit at once. Jillian Michaels came to the event to run the workout and everyone had fun. Sports Authority wants people to have fun with their workout and loves that the Nintendo Wii Balance Board allows people to do that with workout games.     Rockstar accused of terrible working conditions from spouses

    In our lookback at Women in Gaming Events over the last decade, we highlighted EA Spouse who through her letters she highlighted the overtime working conditions her husband went though. Causing a ripple of change throughout all of EA. Now it appears the wives of Rockstar San Diego employees have banded together to accomplish the same thing. They want the world to know that the long work hours and the mistreatment of workers is affecting their quality of life and health. “Initially, as work pressure in the office increases, so do the stress levels of employees.     LEGO Universe information from CES 2010

    At CES, NetDevil released a look into the world of LEGO Universe the upcoming MMO that is set entirely in the toys that we group up playing with. NetDevil has been working on this title for a few years now and below we have the first game trailer and some in-game videos to show you how it’s coming along. The new video shows the minifig avatars and how customization works. LEGO Universe will launch for PC later this year.     Dell unveils new Smartphones, Computers and Tablets at CES

    This nothing like the CES to get the gadgets section full of items. It is also no surprise that a number of large electronic companies have waited to unveil new and up coming items. Dell has unveiled a number of new items that they will be selling within the coming year. They are sub divided into three headings, smartphones, laptops and tablets. Smartphone: In terms of smartphones, Dell is moving into that business. They showed the Mini 3. This phone is a phone that is based off the Andriod phone and was developed in conjunction with AT&T. The phone will be available on AT&T’s network, which makes it the first Andriod based phone to appear on the network.
