Mass Effect 2 is Still Steamrolling the Competition

Despite a few hiccups in the beginning, BioWare’s Mass Effect 2 has quickly reached blockbuster status. In the single week it’s been on sale (okay, actually less than that), it’s already sold two million copies. It’s also garnered 40 perfect reviews and has retained a 96 on Metacritic. How long will the hype last? So far, it seems entirely deserved. What do you readers think?

Would you like some Kratos with that Slurpee?

Slurpees are good, but putting Kratos on them? Even better. Sony Computer Entertainment America has teamed up with 7-Eleven and Mountain Dew to celebrate the upcoming release of God of War III. You know that small title that everyone has been talking about? Our very own Warren is working on God of War III, I’m sure he’ll be celebrating with a Slurpee or two. Starting February 1 through March 31, there will be four Kratos-themed cups at 7-Eleven. A new beverage called Kratos Fury made up of a blackberry and lime-flavored Slurpee is made specifically for the Kratos Slurpee program. With each Slurpee comes a code that can be redeemed at www.Slurpee.com for God of War advanced content. The best thing you could win is the hoodie that is made for both males and females. How freaking awesome would that be? Oh what should I wear today…oh just my Kratos

    iPad Accessories coming from iLuv

The iPad announcement from Apple caused enough stir and conversation to bring down Twitter more than once. While most of the conversation is about the name of the Apple tablet, iLuv is moving forward with providing fashionable and innovative cases for the iPad. The picture above is a casual fabric case with a band holder and retails for $39.99. I love the concept of the band holder keeping the iPad safe. On the iLuv website, they have all the accessories listed. I’m not sure why, but these iPad covers and cases are some of the cutest designs I have seen for an electronic device. The water resistant neoprene sleeve comes in a variety of bold colors and patterns for only $19.99. Cases vary from $24.99 to $39.99. The most expensive case is Leather case that opens up like a notebook available in black or pink for $39.99. It’s great to

    Video Rewind: A Quick-look At PS3′s “Flower”

Amanda here, bringing you a “mini-review” of PS3 exclusive, “Flower.” Now, I haven’t had the pleasure of downloading this title until very recently, but I was surprised at how many people have never come across it’s “peaceful splendor,” if you will. My initial thought (…and I even twittered this) was that this game felt like, well, a “warm bath.” Every once in awhile theres a game that gets embedded into my brain as “unforgettable.” Flower is one of those games because it manages to peak my interest and enthusiasm when I’m not in a “gaming” mood–that, in itself, is rare! Since I’m a little behind on making anything substantial that hasn’t already been said about this game, I still thought “Flower” to be deserving of a re-introduction to those who haven’t had the chance to play. Enjoy! (Edited by myself. Video edited by Shawn Lebert at Goozex. Hosted by myself).

Day 2 & 3: Heavy Rain “Four Days Challenge” Investigation

Previous: Day 1 Heavy Rain “Four Days Challenge” Investigation 10:28 PM 01.28.10 Day 3 Hello, you. Yeah, yeah… I know this is …Well, let’s properly label this “Day 3,” but yesterday only left me in a pile of my own drool. I remember lifting my head upright at the sound of some five different Twitter applications. “@PerfectFolds” seemed as restless as I’ve been feeling because he’d been pouring his innermost thoughts all day. I couldn’t sleep last night, either. I suppose this means “@PerfectFolds” and I are becoming close companions on our descent into madness…I mean, sleep deprivation. The guy can’t even spell properly anymore, as you’ve probably noticed. “someombody ened sto do something!,” he says. I’m trying. I’m trying really hard to do something but I’m only lead further into anxiety and confusion. I’ve never envied detectives. I didn’t sign-up for this. Who am I kidding? We’ve all willingly
