Beyonce teams up with Vizio for endorsement deal

At CES many companies bring in the celebs to add some Hollywood glam to the excitement of new gadgets. This year is no exception.
Vizio, makers of LCD HDTVs, have entered a three year endorsement deal with Beyonce Knowles – Carter. The agreement allows Vizio the name, likeness and rights to use on packaging, web, promotions, PR to showcase Vizio’s new line of products.
“Beyoncé is in an elite class of entertainers who are globally known and respected for their talent on stage and in front of the camera,” said Laynie Newsome, Co-Founder and VP Sales & Marketing Communications of VIZIO. “We believe both VIZIO and Beyoncé are closely aligned as American success stories who have redefined the rules in our respective industries.”
Vizio used to market their LCDs as a low cost option for gamers looking for an HDTV.
