Dragon Age: Origins 360 Patch and DLC
Return to Ostagar, the twice delayed DLC for Dragon Age: Origins is FINALLY available. Not surprising, after the last delay, the DLC was leaked to some mixed reviews. According to Bioware, the leaked DLC was an earlier version, so hopefully the issues people with the leaked version have complained about may not be issues any longer. According the the @dragonage account on Twitter:
Return to Ostagar is NOW available for Xbox 360. It will be coming later today for PC users and soon for the PS3. Check Xbox Live 4 details
Also, today on the Grey Wardens blog, there’s news of a patch for the game for the Xbox 360. From Victor Wachter the Community Facilitator for Bioware:
On January 13, there will be an update to the XBox 360 version of Dragon Age: Origins. This update will resolve an issue that caused the four achievements earned from the Warden’s Keep and Stone Prisoner DLC to not appear during the first four days of the game’s launch. If you have already completed the requirements for these achievements, they will appear automatically when you next start Dragon Age: Origins while signed in to the EA servers
UPDATE on the Return to Ostagar DLC from Chris Priestly on the Bioware forums:
Hello Dragon Age fans
This morning a title update on the Xbox 360 for Dragon Age: Origins was made available in preparation for the release of Return to Ostagar. This title update introduced a previously undetected issue that causes specialization classes to not work correctly in Dragon Age: Origins. We are removing Return to Ostagar from Xbox Live until the issue is resolved and are recommending that you do not download the title update. If you have already performed the update, we apologize for this and are working hard to ensure a fix is available as soon as possible.
We will provide more information to you when it is available
