“Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars” Leaves Chinatown, Downsizes to Your Pocket
Today, Rockstar announced that the previously-for-DS-and-PSP title Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars is now available for iPhone and iPod Touch [iTunes link], making this the last stop on its complete mobile tour.
Thankfully, it’s not strictly a port of the original. Since the Apple device has multitouch, that’s been brought into play with new controls (meaning this app has controls like about a zillion others – an onscreen joystick). The graphics have also been updated, difficuty levels have been tweaked, and “Independence Radio” has been added, allowing players to create iPod playlists during play.
