Haruhi Suzumiya returns!

Firstly, a big thank you goes to GamingAngels member, Shogun, for tipping us off to the news that all “Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya” fans are waiting to hear – they’re coming back!

According to an article on Mania.com, the official Twitter and Facebook pages for the ASOS Brigade simply posted a message saying that they were announcing the “return of the ASOS Brigade!!”.

While there’s no word about when it will happen, we DO know that the 2nd season hasn’t been released on Blu-Ray in Japan. Whether it will be dubbed or not is also up for debate, but I would hope so if the efforts of this video are anything to go by:

While the public’s response hasn’t exactly been favorable so far, it appears as though Bandai are planning on a big viral campaign – so if you thought you missed out the first time around, then you probably won’t be so lucky this time. You have been warned!

If you’d like to check out more info on the ASOS Brigade, then you can visit them at www.asosbrigade.com, or stalk follow them on Twitter or Facebook!

I’m 90% certain it will be dubbed. They hired Bang Zoom to make those little live action videos and they are the ones responsible for the season 1 dub.

I have to say, I love Haruhi to death, but season 2 is heavily based on Endless Eight, which was more than half of the season. Still a great series, I just wish they hadn’t had so many episodes in a row based on that particular chapter.
