Today, THQ announced Nancy Drew: The Model Mysteries for Nintendo DS. The game is based on three Nancy Drew books: “Model Crime,” “Model Menace,” and “Model Suspect.” These books were originally published in the 1990s, but have been rewritten to suit today’s young audience.

In the game (well, also in the books), Nancy is asked to be a bridesmaid in the wedding of a friend who is marrying a reality television star. Naturally, the whole wedding is being filmed. (Is her friend Jessica Simpson? Because I can tell her how this will end.) However, some unknown villain wants to sabotage the whole thing! Oh no! If someone did that during my wedding, I think I’d go off.

Nancy, however, just decides to figure out who’s doing the plotting. I assume that she won’t really kill anyone for it, though.

Nancy Drew: The Model Mysteries (hey, where were the models?) is scheduled to be released in February.
