Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3 Portable

By: Tiffany Nevin

Ready to bring your virtual social links on the road? Well, Atlus has the goods with today’s official announcement of Persona 3 Portable for North America.

Persona 3 Portable boxartThis version of SMT: P3 includes a female protagonist not in the original version. It also features a lot of improvements. In fact, it features the sort of improvements that should’ve been in the original version (in my opinion, anyway): Five difficulty levels, a choice of protagonist, Skill Cards, part-time jobs, and THE ABILITY TO CONTROL YOUR TEAMMATES IN BATTLE. (Sorry if I got overly excited, but why wasn’t this there in the first place?)

Looks like I’ll be doing my best to obtain a PSP before July 6 so I can see the story from a different angle and enjoy it all over again. Check out the trailer below, and be wary that it does contain imagery of characters putting their Evokers (which look like guns) to their heads:

OMG that art is beautiful! I have the first one to play so I want to make sure I get all caught up to pick this up in the future.
