Video Review – Silent Hill: Shattered Memories

By: Amanda

Silent_Hill_Shattered_MemoriesHey everyone! GamingAngel Amanda here! This is a complete video review for Silent Hill: Shattered Memories on the Nintendo Wii. Half-reviewed, voiced, and edited by myself and half-reviewed, recorded, and made by Mr.  Lebert of Goozex. This was definitely one of the better sequels and we’ll tell ya why. Note that we did recommend you to RENT Shattered Memories, but only because it’s incredibly short–otherwise, it’s a must for Silent Hill fans! Stay tuned at the end for our final score on Shattered Memories! Enjoy!

Rating: M for Mature
Genre: Survival Horror
Publisher: Konami
Release Date: December 8th, 2009

Awesome review. I just bought this on the PSP (look for my own review coming up), and I just got stuck on a glitch, which really pisses me off.

But yes, it's a wonderful game, and I love your video review!

Thanks Rachel!

The only Silent Hill giving me insane glitches is Homecoming (had to restart numerous times). Annoying as hayle, I say. Can't wait to read your review!

This is probably my favourite Silent Hill game (in close competition with 3) I was really impressed by how they reimagined the storyline of the first game and am absolutely thrilled by the fact that there's no combat. It brings back the panic and fear the first three games had (and that was completely lacking in The Room and Homecoming) I also really enjoyed the emphasis on exploring the world and the little puzzles along the way, something that was so well immersed in the first three games (And what made the classic Resident Evil games so great before they changed the format of the game in 4)

although the game is short, it'll take probably around eight hours to finish if you want to try and collect all the memories along the way the pyscholical aspect of the game offers a sense of replayability that has not been seen in any toehr games as every answer you give alters the game.
