Sweethearts Candy add “Tweet me”
Sweethearts candy are a staple of Valentine’s Day. With or without a valentine, I can easily go through boxes of these sugar candy treats. You may have noticed through the years Valentine’s Candy have added sayings like, “Text me” and now the newest hearts will say, “Tweet me”.
USA Today has the report that Sweethearts will be embracing Twitter on the heart-shaped candies. Your odds of getting a heart that says Tweet Me is one in 80.
A year ago, an online survey asked consumers to come up with their next candy saying. Tweet Me overwhelmingly won.
“It’s even more proof that people can say anything in short messages,” says Biz Stone, co-founder of Twitter. “A 140-character message may seem short. Sweethearts are even smaller.”

Mmmm, candy hearts... this is the only reason I look forward to Valentine's Day. It's funny... I know people who hate NECCO wafers yet love candy hearts when, uh, they're the exact same thing, just shaped like a heart instead of a thin disc! I've blown people's minds with that little nugget of information. It's a good feeling.Anyway, yeah. "Tweet me." I remember when they added "E-Mail me," too. I don't know, I usually don't even read them. But, that's because I'm a bitter, old man who is perpetually alone on V-Day. Good... more candy hearts for ME. ;)
