Wizard Announces Austin Comic-Con coming in November
Ever growing, the Wizard Comic-Con experience has added a new stop for 2010. The new Wizard World Convention will be held at the Austin Conference center November 12-14, 2010. Hopefully this addition will help replace the cancelled Dallas convention. There’s not much to know about this addition yet, however you can check out the webpage here to watch for further announcements.
Wizard CEO Gareb Shamus had this to say in regards to the new show:
“The fans have spoken and they want us back in Texas. We previously had a great experience here and are thrilled to be back. It’s a great city with a top-notch convention center and we’re really looking forward to seeing our fans at the type of pop-culture festival only we can bring.”
The Austin stop for Wizard World makes six slated conventions, with the seventh: the New England comic-con yet to be determined. Here’s the other stops in case Austin might be too far for you:

- Anaheim Comic Con, Anaheim Convention Center, April 16-18, 2010
