These shoes scream 8 bit retro. Adidas has created the special edition ZX500s that come packaged with their own videogame. That’s right a game that is inspired by the 80′s.

The shoes are actually a remake (everyone is rebooting old stuff) of the original shoe launched in the 80′s. The bottoms have Pac-Man pellet studs and the sides contain rainbow shock foam.

Adidas talks about the included game on the USB key here:

“ZX Runner,” is an ’80s-style platformer that lets you take on the role of DJ Zed as he races through to a blacked-out neighborhood to get to his midnight set on time. With 5 minutes on the clock, you will need to run, moon-walk, climb walls, avoid some dodgy-looking thugs, collect power-ups, and pull off insane rooftop-to-rooftop stunts to make it to the stage.
