Ten Things to Do During Your PlayStation Network Downtime
Tweet
So you may or may not know that PSN is down. Like, really down. (I have no idea if this redirect from the main US PlayStation site that GamingAngel pointed out in her post has anything to do with it, but that does look really fishy and hackeresque, doesn’t it?) I can currently only play Bejeweled 2 on ours at the moment, and almost every disc-based game crashes on start. It’s like the Zunepocalypse all over again!
If you of the chubby PS3 variety can’t do anything on your Blu-Ray-playing brick right now, we have a few suggestions for you.
- Alphabetize something – your DVD collection, books, sentences within said books.
- Desperately search for your PlayStation 2. It still has to work, right?
- Learn to play marbles with your cat/dog.
- Take a late-night trip to the vet for a swallowed marble.
- Read GamingAngels. (Obviously.)
- Hide from Modern Warfare 2-obsessed friends that happen to be going through withdrawal.
- Become a fan of “The PlayStation Network working properly” on Facebook.
- Obsessively refresh the Sony PlayStation Twitter account.
- Watch a movie you know well, and use your controller while it plays to mimic the characters’ on-screen actions. (It’s just like Heavy Rain.)
- Be glad it’s at least not a red-ringed 360.
If you’re doing your own thing (understandable), what are you doing? Let us know in the comments!
