Vizio’s Beyonce Superbowl Commercial

During CES 2010, we heard that Vizio was going to be using Beyonce in their marketing for the upcoming year. Yesterday, we saw a brief part of that partnership with her featured in the beginning of the Vizio commercial for the Superbowl. In my opinion, Beyonce wasn’t the star of that commercial, the product really was.

The Vizio 47 and 55 inch LED LCD HDTVs looked great and I had no idea that Vizio televisions were able to have internet applications on them. Since the commercial, I have been researching Vizio LCD LED HDTVs online and I love the idea of the featured internet applications. I believe this is the perfect bedroom television where you can stream Pandora if you are cleaning, check Twitter before bed, or stream Netflix for that scary movie that you want to cuddle during. I don’t have official prices but the 47 inch seems to be around $1300 online. Vizio also has a 42 inch that has internet apps but is not an LED. Which may be the one I go with since 47 and 55 inches are a bit large for the bedroom.

Here is the tv ad below? I want to ask you if you’ve ever been influenced by a Superbowl ad for something you want to purchase?

It does sound and look pretty interesting. I don’t know that I could justify that price for my house though.

I haven’t ever been influenced to buy anything from a Superbowl ad, but I sure have been entertained, and some of the commercials are memorable – but that’s mostly if they are funny. Enough with the serious stuff!
