I recently took some time and sat down to check out the God of War III demo. Since I’ve been a fan since the first game, I was pretty excited to get my hands on the next installment, especially after watching trailers and footage of the game from conventions. And I must say, I was not disappointed!

The first thing I noticed was the graphic improvements. The game just looks beautiful, even when you’re disembowling a centaur. And even if you haven’t played in awhile, it’s easy to pick up the controls for the game again. The demo gives the player a basic run through of what to expect in the game both from gameplay, graphics and gore. You are able to fight through swarms of enemies, battle against a centaur as well as a Chimera type creature, and not to mention a showdown with Helios where… well it just doesn’t end well for him.

All in all I had a fun time playing the demo, but as with most it just seemed short. It did however make me excited to get my hands on the full game when it’s released March 16th!
