Goodbye Jingle, Hello Beep!: Starbucks Accepting iPhone payment app in over 1,000 store.

I woke up this morning, sat on the couch with my cup of breakfast blend and surfed the net for my dose of internet news.  I come across this little nugget of coffee news. Now, you can get rid of that change that is jingling around in your pocket, and replace it with this wonderful app.  How does this work? Well the app displays a QR code on the display which is linked to your Starbucks card.  Swipe and then your billed. It has been around for a while but it wasn’t available in a number store, but now it is an acceptable form of payment in over 1 000 store.

The app is free and available for the iPhone and the iPod Touch.
