Square Enix and DC Comics imprint Wildstorm are teaming up to release three comics explaining some parts of the Nier backstory before the game goes on sale April 27. The comics will reveal information about key game characters, start to answer some major questions about the plot, and get you acquainted with game basics before you can even open the box.

They’ll be available in three places: the official Web site at http://www.NierGame.com, on Xbox LIVE Arcade, and on the PlayStation Store.
