Beautiful artwork for the add-ons.

Square Enix, Inc., together with VanaFest 2010, announced today the development of three new add-on scenarios for release throughout 2010. This content will provide high-level players with new equipment and more monsters to battle.

The first of these is titled “Vision of Abyssea”, is scheduled to launch early in the summer of 2010, and will be followed by two additional releases, “Scars of Abyssea” and “Heroes of Abyssea”. Clearly, you’re going to be concerned with Abyssea in these scenarios. They’ll cost $9.99 each in the PlayOnline viewer.

Unfortunately, if you want to experience these add-ons, previously released expansion packs Rise of the Zilart and Wings of the Goddess are required to experience the new content. These add-on scenarios will release simultaneously online within North America, Japan and Europe across all supported platforms (PS2, Xbox 360, and PC). More details will be available soon.
