This entry in the series is notable because it finally features the Ryder Cup, a series of golf events that bring together European and American golfers for the prestige rather than just the cash. You can choose between the American and European groups and compete in the various Ryder Cup competitions. You will be able to take the competition online on PS3 and 360, but offline, you can switch off between groups to influence the results of other competitions.

The cover also features Rory McIlroy, a golfer from Northern Ireland who represents the Europeans.

This title will utilize Wii MotionPlus, and apparently, the new PlayStation motion control may come into play as well. No details on the latter were given in the press release, but with a June release for the game, could that mean a June release for the device as well? (I doubt it, but that would have it beating Project Natal by a couple of months, at least.)
