No More Heroes 2 Goes Even More International in Australia May 27

Looks like No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle is going almost entirely international, with an EU date set for May 28, and a brand-new Australia/New Zealand date of May 27. Of course, you should note that the one major place of gaming still missing is Japan, but it could be quite a while before this entirely-unintended sequel makes it there. Travis’ exodus to Australia comes through Rising Star Games, and it won’t be heavily edited like some titles that make it Down Under, most notably Left 4 Dead 2 – this iteration of the No More Heroes series will feature all of the blood and gore that made it to US shores, just the way Suda51 intended. Are you still on the fence about buying the game, even after hearing the news that it’s traveling over multiple seas? Check out our review here (to cut to the chase, I gave

    Dress your man like Wolverine

One way to describe this is hot. Another way is yes please. The company that previously made the Dark Knight motorcycle suit is back with a suit that any X-Men fan will love. The Wolverine Motorcycle suit is licensed from Marvel and includes a leather jacket, pants and gloves. Orders will start at www.udreplicas.com late this month. “Wolverine has one of the sleekest, most amazing suits you can imagine, and what we’re creating is as close to the real thing as you could possibly get,” said David Pea, owner of UD Replicas, the officially licensed division of Universal Designs Ltd. “This is a project we’ve been working on for a long time, and it has taken literally hundreds of hours to get it right – but the end result is truly stunning and we hope fans will love it.” This suit looks amazing. Fate of the World Can Literally Be in Your Hands Q3 2010

Red Redemption Limited’s “Fate of the World” is scheduled for release on Mac and PC in the third quarter of this year. The game covers several global warming scenarios over 200 years of Earth’s existence. 10 “Masterplans” dictate the player’s goals, including an “Apocalypse” level requiring the player to raise the planet’s temperature to a lethal level and a “Utopia” setting where the player attempts to build a perfect society and battle population growth. I don’t think you’ve been this kind of god in a game before. You get to fiddle with geoengineering, wildlife adaptation, and even nuclear fusion. Creating a balanced Earth requires you to protect resources while taking human needs into account. It’s sort of like ruling the world – trying to make everyone happy is a brainteaser for the ages. Managing Editor of Red Redemption, Klaude Thomas, is producer of “Fate of the World.” In a press

Will we be reading new Harry Potter in 10 years?

According to a news post on SciFi Wire, possibly. In an interview J.K. Rowling did with the Washington Post at the White House Easter Egg roll, she has not planned on writing another Harry Potter book, but that could change “maybe 10 years from now,” depending on how she feels. My inner cynic wants to say “sure when she needs more cash,” but the fact that JRK hasn’t done anything sooner gives me hope. Personally I think the series is good where it stands, and I’m sure children will find the story fun to read years from now. The intriguing tidbit that is also mentioned is that she would like to write another book. “I’m quite sure in the not-too-distant future I will bring out another book,” Rowling stated. It’ll be interesting to see what she comes up with outside of the Potter universe. I’m also wondering if she will

New Dead to Rights: Retribution Trailer Showcases New Moves for Shadow

Due out on April 27 in the US, Dead to Rights: Retribution is the story of a man and his sweet dog… Okay, that was sappy. And completely false. Shadow the dog appears to be one of the most vicious animals I’ve ever seen in a video game. Well, if you play him that way. Maybe we can make him a little more cuddly? Nah, probably not. That would take all the fun out of it. Enjoy this EU trailer, featuring Shadow doing his Vicious Dog thing. On command.

    PAX East Preview: Alpha Protocol

Stealthyslyth and I had the pleasure of sitting in on the SEGA demo for their upcoming Spy RPG: Alpha Protocol.  Now, I went in not knowing much about the game, but with an open mind to be impressed.  First of all though, let me tell you that I had a long weekend over Easter and in that time I spent pretty much an entire day playing through Heavy Rain on the PS3.  And most of you will probably know what a huge Dragon Age fangirl I am.  When you mix those two ideas together, a more story-driven RPG surrounding a single character sounds like a pretty cool concept. And what we saw of Alpha Protocol seemed to fit that bill.  You play as Michael Thornton a spy part of an organization known as Alpha Protocol.  Typical to what we’re used to with Dragon Age or Mass Effect and to a
