Ready to get your Wiggle on?

Parents – brace yourselves. The child entertainment phenomenon known as The Wiggles is now going to take over your PlayStation! The gentlemen have been teaching our little cherubs about “Hot Potato“, “Fruit Salad” and their “Big Red Car” for 19 years. They’ve survived a change in their wiggly line-up (the original Yellow Wiggle – Greg Page – had to leave due to poor health and was replaced by Sam Moran), and several foreign incarnations. Now they are available for your kids to test their wiggly vocal skills and learn the infamous songs over and over again via karaoke in “SingStar® The Wiggles“. It would probably be good for a laugh while intoxicated with your other adult friends – not that I would encourage you to become intoxicated. While the Wiggles have plenty of deals under their belts, the Blue Wiggle named Anthony Field appears to be tickled pink over this

“Reach” Video Explores the Carnage at Your Disposal

Well, if you haven’t suspected it before now, it looks like the truth is finally out: Everyone at Bungie is having a lot more fun with “Halo: Reach” than you are. But why aren’t you having fun with it? Oh, right, because you don’t have access to the beta yet. Well, you’re definitely not alone, because you probably don’t work at Bungie! This video, coming in at a whopping eight and a half minutes, has people talking about the weapons and armor you can equip. They also go over the multiplayer types and maps, as well as arena divisions. I think everyone uses the word “awesome” at least once, if that counts for anything. Something that looks particularly interesting is the multiplayer matching method. Not only does it group you together by skill level, but their system also supposedly takes into account just how much fun you’ll have with someone.

A Quick and Dirty PlayStation Nation Update

Okay, “PlayStation Nation” isn’t a phrase of my creation, but it’s a good one for saying that I’m about to talk about a couple of PlayStation-related updates! So, to go ahead and get on with the show, we just let you know about Sony’s Major League deal to bring the MLB to your console (for a rather hefty fee, of course). However, that’s not all that’s coming to the console! A mandatory system update is coming soon that will get you to firmware version 3.30. What’s included? New ways to organize your trophies. You can sort by: Trophy Folder (Title List) can be sorted by game name/ by title according to the date in which you earned your last trophy (ascending/descending) Add-on list (Group list) can be sorted by original/the date in which you earned your last trophy (ascending/descending) Trophy list can be sorted by original/trophy name/grade/date of obtaining the

MLB.TV on My PS3? Could It Be?

Sony and Major League Baseball have combined their mighty powers to bring you an even easier way to stream subscription MLB.TV content – if you have a PS3, that is. The PlayStation 3 is the first console to stream live baseball content in high-def. So, to recap – not only is your computer and any iDevice you own your window to the world of baseball, but your console is as well. It actually looks pretty neat. You look through games using an iTunesesque interface, and you can even get the highlights and scores like you would at your desk. MLB.TV subscribers ($100 a year, $120 for a premium subscription) get what might be the best experience yet. According to a press release from this morning, features include: Home and Away Feeds – Choose to watch either the home or away broadcast feed. Live Game DVR Functionality – Use the live

Quite possibly the cutest store ever – ShanaLogic

This might just be the cutest store ever. Or at least it’s a store made for GamingAngels readers. It’s like they asked what we liked and just made it! Shana Logic is an online site that was created to promote indie artists and businesses. Started in 2003, this site has grown and has allowed Shana to grow the team and the business! Which means even more cute stuff for us to buy. I have to admit I’m in love with this shirt too: It’s raining sprinkles! How awesome is that? But not everything is clothing. They also have jewelry (a cookie and milk earrings set!) and plushes & collectibles. The floppy disc pillow is sold out, but I need it NOW! For very unique items, the prices are very reasonable. I’ll be ordering the pillows as soon as they are back in stock, and then probably focus on shirts and

Shatner tells a tale at Wizard World Anaheim

William Shatner was one of the guests at last weekend’s Wizard World Anaheim Comic Con. Not so much for his contributions in comics and not really to talk about his experiences as Capt. T. Kirk, but Shatner instead talked about current work and answered some Q&A. Shatner is very interesting to hear talk because his stories are great. But his stories are also long. Before long the Q&A was over and Shatner headed out to sign autographs (not for free of course). Below is a video I took at the show. A couple of things he talked about is his pilot for Shit my Dad Says which is based off of the Twitter with the same name. It’s a hilarious Twitter account if you’ve never heard of it. This guy living with his dad and his dad blurts out the weirdest things. So of course the guy has to tweet

    Review: America’s Test Kitchen

Turn your family into your sous chefs and prepare 300 recipes from the comfort of your DS with America’s Test Kitchen. ESRB: E for Everyone Genre: Interactive Cookbook Number of Players: One  Publisher: Nintendo Release Date: March 28, 2010 Buy Buy it now from Amazon Spending time in the kitchen is something I both love and dread. Love because I enjoy making good food for my friends and family. Dread due to the inevitable piles of dishes that will be left to clean up, and I’m usually the one doing that, too. There is an entire row of cookbooks in our home covering a wide range of cuisines. We leave shopping lists stuck to our refrigerator and our kitchen table doubles as a prep table and cookbook stand. The kitchen in our apartment is rather small, not much counter space is available, which means its hard for two people to

    Review: Spectacular!

Spectacular deals with issues of love, friendship, identity and ultimately deciding your own path. It’s a bumpy ride for both Nikko and Courtney and in the end Nikko ultimately has to make a decision that will determine whether his journey with Spectacular has simply been a fun trip, or the beginning of Nikko’s new direction with his new friends by his side.
