Since Lead & Gold: Gangs of the Wild West is now available on Steam, Fatshark and Paradox Interactive have announced two contests for players on that platform to encourage the game’s competitive nature: “Kill the Fatsharks,” and “The Fastest Gun on Steam.” Details on both follow.

In “Kill the Fatsharks,” starting today and ending April 18th, players get the chance to kill the game’s developers on Steam. They’ll be identified by the Fatshark Clan Tags. If you manage to take someone down, you get a special “Kill the Fatshark” Steam achievement called “Feedback.” Not to mention complete worldwide fame. I may be exaggerating the latter of the two. But the achievement is extremely limited, given that it’s only available until the 18th. So get to shootin’!

“The Fastest Gun on Steam” takes the highest scorer on the experience leaderboard and plasters them on the wall of the saloon in Sinners Gulch – the only catch is that it’s on a “Wanted” poster. Should someone make it to the wall of infamy twice in a row, the bounty on their head is increased.
