Prepare for the Last Tour to Endor

We found out during D23 earlier this year that Disney Parks’ Star Tours ride will be getting a much needed facelift. For as old as it is, I still ride it every time I visit Disneyland. On August 14, from 8pm-1am at Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Lake Buena Vista, Fla., there will be a Last Tour to Endor event. This coincides with Star Wars Celebration V convention (one of the most exciting conventions for any Star Wars fan). At the Last Tour to Endor, fans can party in intergalactic party zones, watch Star Wars shows, party under a Death Star Disco and of course much more. At the end there will be a Symphony in the Stars which is a Star Wars fireworks show. Disney will also have a presence at the Star Wars Convention. People can purchase Star Wars items, and there will be Jedi Training Academy. To purchase

All footage is from this afternoon’s Photo Dojo event. You’ll only be able to watch it live if you’re in the LA area or have a satellite with Los Angeles channels, but we’re working on a fix for that. Even if this fix doesn’t happen, we’ll have video up ASAP. (Ed. note: Video has been added!) So, if you can, set your DVRs from work, or just race home to hear more about your favorite site for all things geek – except this time, it’s straight from the Angel’s mouth. Follow

What’s up Google? : Google gets a Spring Face lift

What’s up with my Google search? It has a side bar? It’s visually different? Of course, I try my best not to draw attention to it and move on with the lesson. Yet I decided to look up the reasoning behind such a change after. According to the offical google blog, they are trying to make it easier to find exactly what you are looking for while searching. “today’s changes showcase the latest evolutions in our search technology, making it easier than ever to find exactly what you’re looking for ” In today’s upgrade they have introduced two things. One feature is the new search tools on the left while the second feature is the updated visual look and feel. The left side
