    Next Assassin’s Creed Title, Brotherhood, Adding Multiplayer Mode


    Time to start up the Animus again. Yesterday, Ubisoft announced details for Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood. It will ship this holiday for 360, PS3, and PC.

    You play as Ezio once more in a struggle against the Templar Order. He must go to Rome to fight the order, but he also needs an entire brotherhood to take them down.

    This game is the first in the series to offer multiplayer. To help the Templars, you can use Abstergo to train in the art of assassination. You will have several characters to choose from, with each having their own assassination techniques and weapons. You’ll be able to challenge Assassin’s Creed lovers worldwide in a variety of modes.

I was confused about this,

"To help the Templars..."

You're actually fighting the Templars, helping the Assassins. :P

I think the trailer at the site might explain it. The Templars got their hands on a bunch of Animus machines? Maybe?

I just use what the press release gives me: "For the first time, Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood offers a never-before-seen multiplayer layer. Players can help the Templars by using Abstergo to train in the art of Assassination to eliminate the Assassins once and for all."

Maybe it's different for the multiplayer? Don't know. All I know is that I get upset during the first game because it won't let me just gallop around without setting off alerts and that's stupid.
