Despite the fact that a lot of us have seen it coming for…oh, ages…Nintendo finally announced officially that we’re getting a second Wii color option…in a press release about Wii MotionPlus coming standard with the system.

Yeah, really. The press release talked about how awesome it was that with every new Wii, you’d get Wii Sports Resort and Wii MotionPlus…and then it just added on, “Oh, yeah. There’s a black Wii available, too. Whatever.”

In the U.S., the new console will retail for $199.99, the same price as the old white console a lot of us have already…except that it comes with more stuff.

The new console and packages will be available starting May 9.
