What’s up Google? : Google gets a Spring Face lift
While proving to the students of my English class that sometimes you can not find free study guides for all English literature novels online, I noticed something. What’s up with my Google search? It has a side bar? It’s visually different? Of course, I try my best not to draw attention to it and move on with the lesson. Yet I decided to look up the reasoning behind such a change after.
According to the offical google blog, they are trying to make it easier to find exactly what you are looking for while searching. “today’s changes showcase the latest evolutions in our search technology, making it easier than ever to find exactly what you’re looking for ” In today’s upgrade they have introduced two things. One feature is the new search tools on the left while the second feature is the updated visual look and feel.
The left side bar is designed to refine your primary search down to items such as news, blog, images and even books. Of course you standard everything search still applies, yet if you wish to be specific, you can with a simple click of a link.
