You know Facebook gaming is cool when Hollywood shows up to celebrate the launch of a new title. himojo is launching The Big Bluff, a new social, multiplayer trivia game for Facebook. Players will be testing their trivia knowledge against celebs like Perez Hilton, Kristin Cavallari, Ashley Roberts, Cheryl Burke, Brody Jenner, Mark Ballas, Lacey Schwimmer, and Dr. Hollywood, among others. On May 24, from 8pm to 11pm PT fans can log in to The Big Bluff on Facebook for a chance to play against Perez or any of the celebs.

But why play from your couch at home when you can attend the red carpet event at a hot Hollywood night club? GamingAngels will be there covering the event, but you can win a chance to have fun with us and all the celebs.

Here is a little about the game:

The Big Bluff is a trivia game that incorporates some mechanics of Texas Hold ‘Em Poker, in which a dealer will start by displaying three cards in the community hand – the first showing the question category, followed by a second and third card showing hints to the answer. Players will then have the option to match the pot to continue playing and to view the fourth and fifth cards. The fourth card displays another hint, while the fifth and final card displays the question that players must correctly answer. Fold at any point in the game if you’re not confident in the final question and answer, or bluff your way to the end, raise the pot and force your competitor’s hand. Call your opponent’s bluff and win bonus money if they don’t know the answer.

I am a trivia buff and this might be the first Facebook game I play.
