Act out! “Yoostar 2″ for 360 Kinect and PS3 Eye
Do you think you’ve got the drama of a damsel in distress or the strength of an action hero? Yoostar 2 puts players in their favorite movie scenes and will be available for Xbox 360 owners in addition to the PlayStation 3. Who knows, you might even win some prizes for your performances. The game will score users’ acting abilities, as well as their ability to improvise in movies made by studios like Paramount, Universal, MGM, Lions Gate and Warner Bros. There will also be a few multiplayer gametypes, including modes where the players shuffle quickly between movies or play to unlock other scenes. “Yoostar2 will bring the magic and fun of Hollywood into living rooms across America. The new console platforms have allowed us to make the experience totally immersive and incredibly easy,” said Gregory Fischbach, President and CEO, Yoostar Entertainment Group. E3 2010: Project Natal/Kinect Cirque Event
The product has a new name and the room full of press got a night of art and confusion. Project Natal became Kinect and no matter what you think of the name, it’s going to take time to get used to. Our theory of how they got to Kinect is generating community through motion (thanks Manda and Candice!). The name will probably be explained during the press conference, but I’d like to think we nailed it. The Show The world premier of Kinect was brought to us by Cirque Du Soleil. Walking in, we knew right away we were in for some sort of experience. Press was handed a poncho that contained shoulder pads that Grace Jones would be proud of. The dancers of Cirque Du Soleil entertained from before the show starting through the end of the show. A family was perched up above and unfortunately half of the

Mario wins the Meijer 300
Mario is not only the star of the latest game from Nintendo, but also of the Meijer 300. Joey Logano won the race at the Kentucky Speedway on Saturday driving the Super Mario Galaxy 2 car. I wonder if it came with bananas to throw out the window. Joey has a history of driving game themed cars. Wonder what his favorite console really is?

Guest Article: London MCM Expo
Recently, I went to good ol’ London town to experience the London MCM Expo ( http://www.londonexpo.com/ ) for myself, and for GamingAngels.com. I had never been to an MCM Expo before, and didn’t know what to expect at all. As soon as I stepped on the Jubilee line on the London Underground however, I had a pretty good idea. There were anime and game characters everywhere on the train, and noone batted an eyelid. I love London’s diversity and the stiff upper lip that comes with it, observing strangers acting like everything was normal was amusing. I passed the Master Chief and a lot of bare bottoms, boobies and blue hair as I entered the hall, plowing straight through stalls full of nerdy goods and mountains of Pocky to the games stands. First up was Transformers: War for Cybertron. The booths were quiet first thing on a Sunday morning, so

Guest Review: Gilgamesh
DVD Release Date: 22/05/2007 Original Run: 02/10/2003 – 18/02/2004 Languages: English, Japanese Genre: Action, Drama, Fantasy, Science Fiction, Horror Subtitles: English Number of Discs: 7 Runtime: 650.0 mins Rating: TV-14 Available from RightStuf I chose to write my first anime review for GamingAngels on an anime series released on DVD back in 2007. I wanted to pick an anime that was easily accessible to me as well as most people out there, which led me to my Netflix queue. That’s how I stumbled across the Gilgamesh series! (By the way, do YOU have Netflix? If you’re an anime fan and you’re on a tight budget, like me, you should definitely look it up. It gives you access to a decent anime collection for cheap. Unfortunately, only a few can be watched instantly at the moment, like…. Gilgamesh!) The story of this anime might seem like the usual post-apocalyptic type at
