People have only been waiting for the next edition of Gran Turismo for about forever. In fact, a lot of people considered it off the table. But, like a carrot in front of a horse, Sony and Polyphony continued to dangle it in front of us, insistent that it was coming.
And come, it has. With a release date of November 2 of this year, more than a few racing fans got the surprise they’d been waiting for yesterday at Sony’s press conference yesterday.
And with the highly-anticipated titles, comes the special Collector’s Edition. Which, in this case, comes with a something that could legitimately add to someone’s collection – in this case, a 1:43 model of a 2009 Nissan GT-R Spec V. You’ll also get a keychain (for your real car! How novel!), a downloadable pack of exclusive cars and a mammoth (300 page) “car lover’s guide.” Oh, and a copy of the PlayStation 3 game as well, obviously.
It’ll run you $99, but it does seem to be one of the better Collector’s Editions out there. Keep in mind that the game is also 3D-compatible, like practically everything else Sony showed yesterday.
