1:51 – It’s over! Once again, we’ll have more later. Keep a watch on GA for more information on things we saw today.
1:47 – Mission-based play in Nuke mode, with multiple factions.
1:46 – Several multiplayer options, both online and off. Each vehicle has two special attacks.
1:43 – One more surprise. Twisted Metal is coming to the PS3. And creepy clowns are onstage. I can’t look.
1:42 – inFAMOUS 2 is coming in 2011.
1:37 – A trailer from Polyphony for Gran Turismo 5. Could the forever wait be coming to an end?
1:34 – A video with lots of game footage of things coming in the future. Includes: Mafia II, DC Universe Online, Final Fantasy XIV, and a ton more.
1:33 – “‘Exclusive’ has become my favorite word.”
1:31 – Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood will have a PS3-exclusive set of missions.
1:30 – Final Fantasy XIV trailer.
1:27 – Steam services are coming to the PS3! And the first look at Portal 2.
1:25 – GLaDOS HAS ARRIVED. With a surprise! And Gabe Newell.
1:24 – Dead Space 2 will have Move support.
1:20 – The PS3 version of Medal of Honor will include Medal of Honor: Frontline. And now, Dead Space 2.
1:16 – EA guy is talking Medal of Honor. PS3 version gets extra content. Starting June 28, an exclusive series of interviews becomes available. A new Afghanistan multiplayer map was debuted.
1:14 – EA is supporting every PlayStation initiative. PS Move, PSN improvement, everything.
1:12 – PlayStation Plus service is debuted. $50 a year gets you extra content for free and extra PSN features. If you like how things are now, you don’t have to pay a cent! Online gaming is still free, but if you want more from your PSN experience, you can get it.
1:09 – Showing off what top creators made in 24 hours with LBP2′s tools. It’s kind of nuts.
1:08 – Showing off a Super Smash Bros. clone within LBP2.
1:04 – And now, LittleBigPlanet 2.
1:03 – A full recreation of Sony’s E3 booth is now in PlayStation Home.
1:01 – And they aren’t updating the handheld? Going against the 3DS, that seems like a bad idea, but okay.
12:59 – Showing off a trailer featuring a ton of new PSP titles. Full list coming in the recap.
12:57 – God of War: Ghost of Sparta trailer.
12:53 – PSP is getting a new ad campaign featuring Kevin. And a kid.
12:49 – Heavy Rain will be adding Move support. Time to play it all over again.
12:47 – Launch details: Sept. 15 in Europe, US on Sept. 19, Japan on Oct. 21. Pricing details: Move by itself is $49.99, Navigation controller is $29.99, Bundle with Move, Eye, and Sports Champions is $99.99, and a Move bundle that includes a PS3 is $399.99.
12:47 – Peter to Kevin: “That was epic.”
12:45 – “Everyone who games is a true gamer.”
12:42 – Kevin Butler has hijacked a bit. He’s making fun of the Kinect presentation already. Says he wants to focus on what really matters – gaming. “Gaming is having a ridiculous big-screen TV in a one-room apartment.”
12:41 – Coca-Cola is marketing Move and the PS3 on 13o million packages.
12:39 – Heroes on the Move – Ratchet, Jak, Sly Cooper, Bentley, Clank and Daxter – all in one game that happens to be a PS Move exclusive.
12:33 – Demoing Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11. We’ve known that one was coming since earlier this year.
12:30 – Ball on top changes color to let you know a potion is ready to drink. Act like you’re drinking, and it changes back to the usual purple color. Cute. Demonstrating a lot of spells within the game.
12:28 – Noticeable delay from his flicks to the spells casting. Maybe that’s the projector, but I doubt it.
12:26 – “Sorcery,” a third-person action-adventure title, presumably, the Move acts as a wand.
12:25 – Over 40 developers onboard. Revealing new games today.
12:22 – A video of devs talking about the Move. Kevin Butler pops up from time to time. Did you know the Move has buttons? (Yes, we’ve known that.)
12:20 – We’re moving into the PlayStation Move portion. It’s distinguished by the 1:1 movement provided by the LED on the wand and the Eye. Peter Dille on to talk about Move.
12:19 – The PS2 is a decade old, and people are still buying it. Probably because they removed PS2 support from the PS3. That could be a reason.
12:13 – List of titles that will support 3D: MotorStorm: Apocalypse, Killzone 3, The Sly Collection, Gran Turismo 5, Crysis 2, Mortal Kombat, Shaun White Skateboarding, Ghost Recon: Future Soldier, NBA 2K11, Tron: Evolution.
12:12 – Killzone 3, available February 2011, fully compatible with PlayStation Move at launch.
12:06 – This is a live demo, but clearly says “Pre Alpha Code” at the top. So…it already looks good now, but it’s gonna get better. Actually, this looks better than good. It’s beautiful.
12:04 – Claiming that 20 titles natively developed in 3D will be on the console by March 2011. Just introduced Hermen Hulst for a Killzone 3 demo.
12:02 – Kaz Hirai is onstage to talk about 3D. “Sony is the undisputed leader in 3D….what PlayStation did for Blu-Ray, we’re ready to do that for 3D as well.”
12:00 – Talking about the PS3′s introduction four years ago. “PlayStation 3 is the only console with something for every member of your family.” Talking about franchises that are exclusive – GoW, Heavy Rain, LittleBigPlanet.
11:59 – Jack Tretton onstage. Yay, things are starting early. Jack says there’ll be no need for ponchos here, “we’re doing it natural.”
11:56 – They’re getting started early. Showing off a montage on three screens with a lot of familiar stuff. This is like a Sony retrospective.
