Interview with Lexipanda – 5 year WoW Veteran

As a player who started after Burning Crusade was released, I’ve always had respect for those who started back in the days of Vanilla WoW. Those were the days of 40 man raids that could take all day, no dungeon finder and no easy emblem gear. It was basically a different game and it was a lot harder than what people are used to these days. Well I luckily know an awesome girl who’s been playing since the days of Vanilla WoW and she has even been a guild leader since those days. I’m also lucky enough to have her in my guild, and Lexi was kind enough to answer some questions regarding the “old days,” her feelings on current WoW and thoughts on the future with Cataclysm. GA: What first got you into playing WoW? Lexi: The first time I saw the original WoW trailer, I was absolutely blown

Featured Interview: Rixty Joins Forces with Facebook

Facebook announced the news this week that it is integrating Rixty as a way for users to pay for Facebook credits to get enhanced content in Facebook games and send virtual gifts. As many more Facebook games are including the universal Facebook Credit as a way for players to get more out of their games by offering more content and more continuous play – for a price, Rixty is becoming an exclusive way to pay that price without a credit card (and without completing offers… which also often requires a credit card). I recently had the opportunity to char with Joel Andren, Marketing Director for Rixty about the exciting news… Rixty & Facebook GA – Why don’t you start off by telling me a little bit more about Rixty? Joel – Rixty provides an easy way for people who pay for online content – especially games – using cash and

This ain’t football with Orcs. It’s Blood Bowl.

Games Workshop has been a huge part of my life for the better part of it. I covet all things GW. In 2009, Blood Bowl was released for the PC to mostly apathetic reviews. But we’re now in the market for a better version of the PC game with Blood Bowl: Legendary. Suddenly, I won’t need to invest huge chunks of money on eBay to get Blood Bowl goodies to augment my Warhammer armies. Well, maybe. Blood Bowl (the shiny new game edition) is based off the wild board game by Games Workshop. It’s playable in real-time or turn based; a mixture of strategy and sports. Strategy and sports? Can such things co-exist in a video game? Listen up, wimpy manling: this is a brutal game of Warhammer meets American football. No holds barred. Want to use that snotling as a ball? Go for it. Crush the prancing elf with
