Konami’s latest Castlevania venture, Harmony of Despair, officially has a release date. On August 4, as part of Microsoft’s Summer of Arcade, you’ll be able to download the latest game for 1200 Microsoft Points.

In Harmony of Despair, you play as one of several fan favorite vampire hunters who are attempting to basically shut up Dracula and put him back to sleep. You can play with up to five others on Xbox LIVE in levels inspired by previous games. The co-op gameplay will lead you to hidden locations and new items and equipment.

Plans are also in the works for downloadable content – both new characters and new levels.
