Over at PlayStation.blog, the usual “ModNation Monday” post featured fun Mods and tracks as per usual. But one section was of definite interest – a few notes on the patch coming (hopefully very) soon.

Apparently, one of the patch’s latest improvements is the addition of a “casual” career difficulty with less aggressive CPU karts, based mostly on community feedback since the game’s launch back in May.

This is of great interest to everyone (including myself) who thought that the career mode’s only difficulty mode was just a little too hard, especially for anyone who was really hardcore about being casual. (If you exist, you are an oxymoron.)

Hopefully that, coupled with the supposed load time improvement also included in the patch, will make the game one of the PS3′s best instead of just the best in racing.
