Previously scheduled for release on September 20, Nintendo and LEVEL-5′s “Professor Layton and the Unwound Future” is getting to store shelves eight days earlier than planned – Sept. 12.

This game features the puzzle-solving the series is famous for, as well as time travel and a healthy dose of mystery. Luke and Layton somehow receive a letter from the future – and seeing as this is Professor Layton we’re talking about, of course they investigate. There are over 165 puzzles in this iteration, and you can pick it up eight days earlier now.
