Star Trek Meets iPhone

By: GamergirlSB

Paramount has released the Captain’s Log Communicator app to the Apple Apps Store. Trekkies are now able to capture voice recordings, type text entries, take photos and map GPS locations. Users can also choose to use this app as whatever officer class they choose or even a Klingon or Romulan.

Logs are also compatible with Twitter, Facebook and Tumblr. So, it’s easy to share logs with all your friends. If social networks aren’t your thing, you can also email logs.

Captain’s Log uses iPhone 4 features including the front facing camera, retina display, multitasking, and gyroscope support.

Captain’s Log is compatible with iPhone and iPod Touch devices with OS 4 and is currently available for $1.99 from the Apple Apps Store.

I would totally have to check the stardate on a regular basis to use that to start each entry.
