Based the on the acclaimed manga by Takashi Shiina, which ran for 8 continuous years in the weekly publication Shonen Sunday, Ghost Sweeper Mikami‘s 45 episodes deftly mix comedy and horror as they detail the madness that ensues when Japan’s overpopulation issues finally begin to impact the resident spirit population and the ghosts have nowhere left to go except to encroach on the land of the living.
