    “Deus Ex: Human Revolution” gameplay trailer

    Eidos and Square Enix have released a first look at the gameplay of Deus Ex: Human Revolution. Unfortunately, it doesn’t look like it’s all gameplay here – it appears to be a mishmash of gameplay and cinematic footage. You’ll get a look at a few special attacks and some genuine beatdowns performed by our hero. The trailer is below.     “DanceDanceRevolution” for PS3 adds Move support and more

    Konami’s latest iteration of DanceDanceRevolution is for PS3 isn’t just a port of the old versions, thankfully. The latest version pushes the PS3 hardware as much as a DDR title can, with new features that include Move support and improved graphics. This time, you’ll be able to dance with your feet and your hands, using PlayStation Move and the dance mat. Since the Move requires the PlayStation EYE camera, your dance can appear on screen. The EYE/Move combo also allows the console to apply filtering effects, zoom in and out and capture and control particles to decorate and record the dance. If you want, you can even upload your dancing to YouTube or Facebook through the PS3′s Video Editor. I sense that some parties will have a lot of embarrassing dance videos as a result.     “Mafia II” puts a hit out on your Facebook and Pandora accounts

    2K Games is entering your other worlds – specifically, your Facebook and music (via Pandora) worlds. In the lead up to the launch of Mafia II, they’re connecting to you in one way you’d expect, and another you wouldn’t. First up is the Mafia II Hit List application on Facebook. You’ll be able to put hits out on your friends, and the Top 5 Hitmen and Top 5 Most Wanted lists will be updated constantly. Basically, you want to get notoriety one way or another. To get started, visit http://apps.facebook.com/mafiahitlist/. Secondly, a special Mafia II Mix Tape is available on Pandora, featuring artists from the game’s soundtrack, including Rosemary Clooney, Duke Ellington and Buddy Holly.     Stronghold 3 Headed to a PC Near You in 2011

    SouthPeak has announced their plans to publish Stronghold® 3, created by the UK developer FireFly Studios. It’s said the game will be released globally for Windows in the first quarter of next year. If you’re unfamiliar with the Franchise, Stronghold is a Castle Sim/RTS. The first game was released in 2001 by Take 2 Interactive. Personally, I lost many hours of my college life to the original Stronghold and am pretty excited to see the franchise continued in it’s 7th installation (if you count the yet-to-be-released Stronghold Kingdoms MMO). “Stronghold 3 is an extremely impressive addition to our continually growing portfolio.
