    Toy Story 3 makes over $1 Billion

    Disney and Pixar’s Toy Story 3 has surpassed $1 billion at the global box office. Yes, that’s before blu-ray and dvd sales. The movie joins Alice in Wonderland as the second $1 billion film from Walt Disney Studios. “It’s been an incredible year as we saw the Pixar team bring Buzz and Woody back to the big screen and watched Tim Burton’s vision for Alice in Wonderland take the world by storm,” said Rich Ross, Chairman, The Walt Disney Studios. “These box office triumphs prove that creative storytelling brought to life by imaginative, inspired and talented professionals is something audiences respond to the world over.” Follow

    GamingAngels sponsored 3G Summit was a success

    I’m extremely proud of the women and men behind the 3G Summit. The Summit was a complete success with 180 people at the Public Forum and 150 attending the 3G Expo. Hopefully next year we’ll be able to donate more to this fabulous event, but we were able to donate to the swag bags which the girls love. They received yellow messenger laptop bags that were filled with goodies from Disney Interactive/Wideload Games, Entertainment Consumers Association, Her Interactive, Gaming Angels, Game Developer Magazine, IGDA, Busy Beaver Button Company, Bonnie Nardi, Pearson Publishing and Columbia College. Tracy Fullerton, Erin Robinson and Susana Ruiz all helped their teams create game concepts. The girls all enjoyed their time at the Summit.
