whew, I just renewed in August!!! I heard rumors of raised prices, but no one was sure if it was the games or the gold accts. I am actually glad to see its 10 a year instead of 10 a game!

Personally, the only reason I keep my gold subscription is to use my Netflix account...if I'm gonna have to pay an extra ten bucks a year on top of the $120 I spend on Netflix...I don't know. It just doesn't seem worth it.

I dont think you have to be gold to use Netflix... you can use the marketplace without being gold and you can message friends too. Just can't play MP games. Paying for Netflix is all you need for that.
