Xbox 360′s wireless controller goes 2.0
Tweet
A brand-new Xbox 360 controller featuring an adjustable D-pad is on the way in November.
Major Nelson made the announcement this morning, accompanied by a YouTube video, reposted below.
Not only does the whole thing feature a pretty slick color change and monochromatic buttons, but the super-shiny D-pad raises and lowers to make it either incredibly clicky or practically nonexistent.
The new controller will be packaged with new Play and Charge kits starting November 9 in the U.S. for $64.99. (Sorry, Europe – you’re waiting ’til February.)
Almost makes you forget about that Xbox LIVE price hike, doesn’t it? I won’t fault Major Nelson – the comments he’s getting today have to be ten times better than what he got yesterday.
