“Dead Rising 2″ gets action movie style in its debut trailer

Chuck Greene has a daughter to save and a roll of duct tape. Not to mention a lot of zombies to kill. Dead Rising 2 is out in a little under a week, and the event is getting commemorated with this brand-new trailer. Fortune City’s in trouble, but maybe a lot of those zombies are going to have more trouble. They will if the things Chuck is taping together work out (my bet is on “yes”). Enjoy your last look at the game before it’s in your hands. Unless you bought the High Stakes Edition, in which case it might be in your giant lifesize zombie’s hands. (Did anyone buy that?) Get Fit with Mel B Trophies

Get Fit with Mel B is the newest workout game announced for the Playstation Move. We spoke about it before on GamingAngels, as the former Spice Girl ventures into the world of video games to make sure you are fit. Today we received the list of Trophies that gamers can earn while working out. Because all pain and no trophies makes you a sad angel right? Most of the trophies are there to encourage you and reward you for spending time working out period. But there are some trophies for those of you that go above and beyond. What’s helpful is that not only you will know about your trophies, the game can be set up to share your workouts on your Facebook feed. I would also mention them in the 90 day workout thread here on GA. Maybe it will help motivate everyone if you compare trophies. I like

    Are You a Pinball Wizard?

Sony Ericsson has brought Pinball back into the spotlight with their new Emusicon Pinball app on their Facebook page, allowing Facebookers to reminisce in the greatness of Pinball days and challenge their friends to a good old fashioned Pinball showdown on with a new look on a new platform. Emusicon Pinball is fun and easy to get started with. Choose a persona that best matches your personality, and launch away… make your friends spin for bonus points! It takes me back to my early days on Atari pinball, one of my all time favorites, and earliest addictions. I am excited to be playing it again. It brings the best parts of a Facebook game to light – competition, nostalgia, fun, and a quick escape from reality. I look forward to playing it more, and if you’d like to check it out, visit the Emusicon Pinball app anytime! Go on, spread

Dissidia 012[duodecim] Final Fantasy’s TGS trailer on display

So, if you had no idea what the ridiculously-named Dissidia Final Fantasy sequel Dissidia 012[duodecim] Final Fantasy was going to look like, the following trailer, which meshes gameplay with pre-rendered video, should give you a pretty good idea. Fighting with Lightning seems to be a good addition, but as always, it’s just great fun to watch classic characters beat the stuffing out of one another. The game’s TGS trailer is below, and I’d tell you more about it if I could remember how to speak Japanese. If you can speak Japanese, however, go ahead and leave a translation in the comments. (P.S. For a better-looking version of the trailer, hit up the Japanese version of the duodecim website.)

Go behind-the-scenes with multiplayer in “GoldenEye 007″

The developers are listening, people. They know what you want. Or at least they think they do, and they’re talking about it in this behind-the-scenes video for GoldenEye 007. The video features fans of the N64 original talking about their experiences with the old game, and developers of the new version talking about the features they’ve implemented, including over 50 characters (only eight of which are from the Bond series, unfortunately), ten maps, and enough game modifiers to keep you playing forever. At least you’ll be playing with your friends. With split-screen multiplayer just like in the old days, you’ll be shouting at one another in no time.

    Review – Metroid: Other M

For me, turning on Other M and finding a sort of side-scrolling 3rd person throw back, meant a pleasant reception to the game. Even so, it did take some getting used to.

    Review: Expedition Egypt

Developer: YayZee Platform: Facebook Release Date: March, 2010 Expedition Egypt is a relatively new Facebook game that takes us on a mission through Egypt completing quests, raiding other rival gangs’ camps, and buying supplies, vehicles, weapons, and properties, collecting loot, and building collections of ancient Egyptian artifacts. Played in a similar style as the popular Mafia wars and Vampire wars, Expedition Egypt offers new themes, ideas, graphics, and locations. Initially, it takes a while to get anywhere with this game, with so few energy points, it’s tough to do too many quests, and the raiding doesn’t seem that important to me. But as far as the actual game play, it’s easy enough to get started. Click to do quests, click to raid camps, etc. I personally learned from playing vampire wars that beefing up the energy in the beginning is the easiest way to get more out of the game
