I think the PR guy meant that this is the first time they are showing the PS3 version of DA:2 to the public. They only demoed the Xbox 360 and PC versions when they were are Comic-con and Gamescon.
Oh, gotcha. If I'd been there, I probably would have understood. :3
Gods, this game looks so good. I played female Hawke as a warrior and it was amazing. I'm not sure that it was really different play-wise on the PS3 than it is on the 360, but it was a different experience for me.

Definitely different from Mass Effect. Mass Effect is as much of a unique gaming experience as DA is, with different flavours entirely. DA 2 took the strengths of DA and built upon them and has (from what I've seen) vastly improved upon them.
...wait. Dragon Age: Origins was out for PS3. I has seen it.
