Playstation 3

Consumers that have 3D HDTVs and a Playstation 3 will have to wait a little longer to play 3D Blu-Ray movies using the Playstation 3. Sony commented at the International Franchise Association Trade Show that the update has been pushed back to October.

This probably affects a small population, so there isn’t a push or high demand for this update. Sony CEO Howard Stringer mentioned that Spider-Man 3, Avatar and Green Hornet will be released in Blu-Ray 3D. Also, Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland and Michael Jackson’s This Is It will be released on 3D Blu-ray.
