Win BIG This Labor Day With Anime Network!

Looks like Summer is officially drawing to a close, but that just means that we get one last hurrah before it’s over: Labor Day! That special day when almost everyone has a day off from work or school, when we get to have one last day of fun before Summer’s end.

Anime Network wants to know what kind of fun our fans will be getting into this coming Monday, so we’re announcing our “How I Spent My Labor Day” Photo contest! Basically, we want you to tell us a story in pictures of how you spent your Labor Day! Here’s how it works:

Anime Network’s “How I Spent My Labor Day Photo Contest!”

Rules:

1) Contest begins on Monday, September 6 and will end on Friday, September 10 at midnight (12 PM CDT).

2) There will be 2 categories: fiction and non fiction. Didn’t do anything too exciting? Don’t worry, just make something up and enter it into the fiction cateogory, but it better be awesome! For example, you can show us how you would’ve wanted your day to go, act out your actual boring day with wrestling action figures, stick a couple of monsters in there, your favorite anime characters, the sky’s the limit. Be as creative as you can!

3) Minimum of 5, Maximum of 15 photos per entry. One entry per person.

4) Remember, you’re SHOWING us how your day went, not TELLING us. Tell us a story with no words and you’re on your way to winning the Grand Prize!

5) We’re pretty family friendly around here, so keep your pictures PG, please!

6) Your entry must be one whole document, think of it as a big collage. Please dont send us an email with 13 photos as separate attachments (you can stick your pictures in a Word Document, .pdf, or all in one bigger .jpeg/.png/.bmp/etc.).

7) This is a big one: we’ll be showing the winning pieces on the site, so please protect your identity by not showing any sensitive information about yourself in your photos.

How: When you think you’ve got the winning entry, send it to contests@theanimenetwork.com along with your real name and age, username (if you’re registered to the site), and an email where you can be reached. Also, specify which category your entry is in, FICTION or NON FICTION.

When: Contest begins on Monday, September 6 and will end on Friday, September 10 at midnight (12 PM CDT). The winners will be announced Wednesday, September 15th on the site

Prizes: Prizes include big boxes jam packed with awesome anime, manga, AN shirts, hats, stickers, and laptop bags, as well as free subscriptions to our Online Player!

Winners: There will be 1 GRAND PRIZE WINNER, and a 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winner for EACH category, making a total of 7 lucky winners!
