Go on an adventure in a “Mafia II” DLC pack

2K Games announced that a new DLC add-on for Mafia II today – “Joe’s Adventures” – will be available November 23. It is a continuation of the original Mafia II story centered around Vito Scaletta’s friend Joe Barbaro. It takes place in a period of time during which Vito is in prison. The add-on provides new places to explore, including a “cathouse” (mrow?) and a train station. It also adds 20 more classic Playboys to the game’s collection, as well as new clothing and music. The meat of the add-on, however, revolves around city-based quests. The add-on will sell for $9.99 (or 800 MS Points, pick your poison). Watch the trailer below to get a better idea of what you’ll be dealing with. Video Games | Mafia II: Joe’s Adventures | Exclusive Debut Trailer XBox 360 | Playstation 3 | Nintendo Wii Follow

    First Impressions: Blizzcon 2010

Well just got through the opening ceremonies and am now watching the Diablo III panel. Honestly I’m underwhelmed so far with Blizzcon this year. I was hoping that they would at least have some kind of a big announcement for all of us. Now don’t get me wrong, the Demon Hunter class for Diablo III looks pretty awesome (even if it is Sylvanas) and I enjoyed the higher quality sound and light show that was done for the Cataclysm opening cinematic. However listening to Morhaime and Metzen only talk about the past year and what it means to be a Geek was a bit boring. I’m hoping that I’ll be more impressed with just walking around the show floor and with some of the panels that are happening over the next two days. Not going to lie, I was really hoping that they’d announce their secret MMO project, even if

I was given the opportunity to ask him a few questions about himself and his experience with EA.       GA: How did you feel when you were first approached by EA to compose a score for their modern combat first-person shooter, Medal of Honor? RD: Medal of Honor has a great history of powerful games and amazing scores.  I was very flattered to be asked to become part of the franchise. FCC Advised to Can Net Neutrality

Technology news resource CNet is reporting that the FCC has advisers and lobbyists telling them that they should stop supporting Net neutrality issues, and to give it a rest. The interests of big telecoms has been so successful so far in working against Net Neutrality that now they are going for the kill with rhetoric from a different direction. What they are pushing is the National Broadband plan. A representative from AT&T Robert Quinn, senior vice president of regulatory affairs for AT&T, said progress on achieving their goals with Congress have been “painfully slow.” Giants such as AT&T and Comcast have been winning against Net Neutrality issues because the FCC cannot keep up with rules to cover them quickly enough. “The FCC has been working on making its principles for protecting the openness of the Internet into formal regulation for months. In short, the FCC and supporters of Net neutrality
