Venus Williams becomes face of EA Sports Active 2

Venus is a busy woman with it comes to games. Today she has been announced as the brand ambassador for EA Sports Active 2. Venus will be the franchise spokesperson and has good company with David Beckham (ambassador in Europe and Australia). EA Sports Active 2 is for the Kinect, Playstation 3 and Wii on November 16.

“Venus is one of the most recognizable, popular and accomplished tennis players in the world; her success can be attributed to both her talent as well as her dedication to fitness,” says Jon Slavet, EA SPORTS Active Vice President, Product Strategy. “Her commitment to healthy living and ability to inspire others makes her a natural fit for EA SPORTS Active 2.”

We know for our recent interview with Venus, that she loves gaming. Her athletic past should help with her new position.
