    The State of Azeroth: The World will break…

    Well Azeroth is now broken. I hope you all got in any last minute things done before things like Loremaster were completely changed, or got some lucky mount drops before ZG went away. Well news and more below from the past month or so. Plus a new advice section as well as a contest surprise at the end! Blizzcon Blizzcon 2010 was pretty fun, and you can find my full coverage under the Angels on the Go section. Nothing earth-shattering (har har) was announced, but we did get to see more in-depth into the changes for dungeons and raids come Cataclysm. Plus the new launcher was released!     Pikachu celebrating 10 at Macy’s Thanksgiving Day parade

    At the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, Pikachu will be celebrating it’s 10th appearance in the parade. Joining Pikachu will be two brand new Legendary Pokemon, Reshiram and Zekrom. The two new Pokemon will be appearing in Pokemon Black and Pokemon White launching this spring. Reshiram and Zekrom will be 14 feet tall with balloon handlers wearing black and white uniforms. “Pikachu’s participation in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is one of our favorite events of the year and we’re proud to have been involved in such an iconic event over the past decade,” said J.C. Smith, director of Consumer Marketing for The Pokémon Company International. “Having Reshiram and Zekrom join the Pikachu balloon makes this year’s parade extra special for us as we begin to reveal more exciting details about the Pokémon Black Version and Pokémon White Version video games.”

    Rockstar Games Double XP Celebration

    In celebration of this week’s release, Rockstar Game’s Red Dead Redemption is having a Double XP event this entire Thanksgiving weekend for four days in online multiplayer. Beginning by 12:01AM Eastern this Thursday November 25th and running until 11:59 PM Eastern on Sunday November 28th, all online multiplayer activity during the long weekend will get twice the experience points. Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare is in stores now in North America and for black Friday, November 26th. A is a stand alone disc for both Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 will contain the Undead Nightmare Pack, the Liars and Cheats Pack, the Legends and Killers Pack and the Outlaws to the End Co-Op Mission Pack as well as all the Multiplayer Free Roam modes released to date.     Zynga and Playdom settle their drama

    The drama between Social Gaming Companies, Zynga and Playdom is finally over. The two companies were able to reach a resolution. Initially Zynga sued Playdom accusing them of stealing its trade secrets by recruiting Zynga employees. No idea what the settlement was for. Zynga initially had asked for damages, royalties and wages of the employees that were allegedly taken. [source Paid Content]

    Naughty Bear Chapter 10 Hits Today

    It has been announced that he latest downloadable chapter for Naughty Bear is now out for Xbox LIVE Arcade and PlayStation Network. Reportedl yChapter 10 is darker, and the bear will be battling against many mystical creatures who want to take over the island. The expansion will feature : 4 new multiplayer modes, new costumes and challenges and a showdown with the Vampiricorn. The story is that Stardust summons a vampire hoard to the island, lead by Vampiricorn. A throng of blood-sucking bears will hunt for Naughty Bear. A new story, with new costumes and a weapon known as Vicious Vampire Claw are featured. 4 new multiplayer modes offer plenty of defluffication: Left 4 Ted: The bears must do what they can to stay alive against a Zombear invasion.     Fable Understone DLC Out Today

    You can do some holiday shopping right from your Xbox. The Understone Quest Pack for Fable III is available on the Xbox Live Marketplace today. The new quest pack adds three new quests to Fable III. The three quests involve the inventor Montague Hummes from Fable II. A whole new town was built underneath the streets of Bowerstone. Gamers can explore the underground area built by Montague Hummes in Fable II. There is a new Mercenary Shooting Range where the Mercenary Camp becomes a tourist attraction. After you beat a character called Saker on your way to becoming King or Queen. The Wheel of Misfortune feature will follow Reaver to an arena which will reward winners with new weapons and new minigames. This full size expanded region contains new houses and stalls which you can own. there are of course new creatures to fight and a major mystery to solve.

    Slash Info: Pre-Thanksgiving edition

    This week on Slash info as Stealthyslyth and I, Xalaga, prepare for the holidays, we wanted to give you a quick up date on what’s new in the MMO world. New  free-to-play: Ministry of War Snail Games USA recently announced that they will be releasing their free to play MMORTS, Ministry of War in North America on November 17th. It’s a historical browser-based MMO where players can play as civilizations like Rome, Egypt, China or Persia and make their way to world domination. So I guess if you would like to check out something that’s a bit like Age of Empires but browser based I recommend it.     Fluidity for Wii

    Coming up just in time for holiday shopping on Wii Ware, Nintendo will have a new game called Fluidity out for 1,200 Wii Points on Dec. 6. In the the upcoming Fluidity game for the WiiWare, a sloshing flowing pool of water is on a mission. To play the tilt, twist and flick of the Wii Remote will splash and gush the water to get you past obstacles in a water world named Aquaticus. Special powers, such as freeze or boil transform your character either into dangerous ice, or the boiling water can become a cloud of vapor that shoots lightning. It’s an interesting concept filled with obstacles. You must defeat the evil Influence (BP?) and its minions while navigating through the chapters. Hidden objects in Aquaticus’ unlock mini-games too.
